Merit awards
Providence High School is proud to offer renewable merit awards for incoming 9th-grade students. Merit awards are considered for students who demonstrate academic achievement, involvement in their school and community and an enthusiasm for enriching their personal and academic life. All applications completed by January 26, 2018, will be considered for a merit award.

 
THE SISTERS OF PROVIDENCE AWARD $10,000
A finalist will demonstrate academic achievement and unique involvement in their school community
 
THE PIONEER EXCELLENCE AWARD $7,500
A finalist will demonstrate academic success and recognized citizenship.
 
THE PIONEER DISTINCTION AWARD $5,000
A finalist will demonstrate involvement in school or community while maintaining a solid academic record.
 
THE PIONEER SPIRIT AWARD $2,500
A finalist will demonstrate enthusiasm in their personal and academic life while searching for what inspires them.

 
PHS award finalists must submit all required paperwork by January 26, 2018 (application, recommendations, and transcripts) and participate in the student interview process. After admissions review, award recipients will be notified on March 2, 2018, and are required to register by March 9, 2018. Renewable awards assist with yearly tuition cost and families are registration and additional fees.
