Ministry Leadership
Peer ministry is a very important aspect of the Spiritual Life of Providence High School. There are 2 student Religious Commissioners who have seats on the ASB Student Council. They assist the Director of Campus Ministry in planning and facilitating events as well as serve as liaisons for communicating Campus Ministry events to the ASB. These students are appointed by the Director of Campus Ministry in consultation with the ASB moderator.

The Campus Ministry club also offers opportunities for peer ministry leadership and training. Junior and Senior students are given the opportunity to serve the younger grades as peer leaders on retreats. They help facilitate discussions, give talks and generally mentor the Sophomores and Freshmen.

Students also minister to their peers as lectors, Eucharistic ministers and cantors at our school masses and prayer services. Senior students who have experienced the KAIROS retreat may become KAIROS leaders, helping their peers appreciate this spiritual journey.

Students often take leadership in promoting drives to help victims of emergencies such as the tsunami in southeast Asia and the victims of wildfires.
