BREADCRUMB

Assistant Head of School Search

With great excitement, I announce Rick Holifield as our new Assistant Head of School, effective July 1, 2023. With the assistance of Adam Peichert of RG175, our national search attracted a broad and diverse group of qualified and experienced applicants.

I thank the Search Committee and Board of Regents for their time dedicated to the Assistant Head of School search. Thank you also to our students, parents, guardians, faculty, and staff, including the Leadership Team, Curriculum & Instruction Committee, Equity, and Social Justice Task Force, Parent Board, and Mothers' Guild, for spending time with each of our finalists and providing thoughtful feedback. Your input helped affirm my decision to appoint Rick as Providence High School's new Assistant Head of School.

We are all grateful to Annie Matthews for her leadership, dedication, and love for Providence shown in all she does, especially in embracing her interim role this year. Annie will continue to be our Interim Assistant Head of School for the remainder of the school year and remains a valuable member of our Leadership Team.

We look forward to celebrating and welcoming Rick as a new person of Providence in the 2023-2024 school year.
