Apply to Providence High School
We are actively accepting transfer applications and limited space is currently available.
Click the Apply button above to begin your child’s online application. You will need to input your SchoolMint username and password. If you have not already done so, please create an account and family profile in SchoolMint before beginning your application by following the Sign-Up link at the bottom of the SchoolMint Log-in page.
Providence High School requires two letters of recommendation as part of the application process:
- Current English Teacher Recommendation
- Current Math Teacher Recommendation
Within the online application, you will be asked to input the above recommenders’ names and email addresses. Once you have submitted the application and paid the $100 application fee, the system will send secure links to your child’s teachers/principal. You will be notified each time our system receives a completed recommendation.
We understand that during the pandemic in which all of our applicants are currently attending school remotely, it is the 7th grade teachers who know your child the best, so we want to give you every opportunity to help us get to know them.
While the 8th grade English and Math teacher recommendations are required and must be submitted via the application itself as noted above, we will allow your child's 7th grade teacher to submit recommendations in addition to the required current teacher forms.
- To invite your child's 7th grade teacher to submit an additional form, please submit teacher names and and email addresses to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once teacher names and email addresses are recieved, we will forward the confidential online forms to them.
- If the teacher would prefer to simply write a supplementary letter of recommendation, please ask them to email it directly to email@example.com.
Important: Please do not enter 7th grade teacher information into the application itself. That information is reserved for your child's 8th grade teachers. Please reach out to use if you have any questions.
Recommendations are due on January 25, 2021.
Once you submit your child’s application, you will receive a confirmation that includes a link to the interview schedule. There will be several dates and times from which to choose. Select an appointment time that works for your whole family. The interview includes both students and parents/guardians.
Within the online application, you can download a copy of the Release of Records Form. You must submit this completed and signed form to your child’s current school, giving them permission to release transcripts to Providence High School.
Admissions decisions for the 2021-2022 school year will be released on Friday, March 5, 2021.
- Non-refundable Application Fee: $100
- Payment may be processed online through the application.
- The application must be submitted, and fee paid by January 11, 2021.
