Ms. Michelle Jackson, or M.J., is a native of Southern California where she, along with her two older sisters, attended Murrieta Valley High School. She received her Bachelors of Arts in the Study of Religion from UCLA and her Master of Divinity from Harvard University where she studied the intersections of race, sexuality, and religion. MJ spent nine years living on the East Coast. In addition to attending graduate school in New England, MJ was Tanenbaum Interreligious Fellow at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, the Assistant Program Director for Financial Resources at the Episcopal Church Foundation in Manhattan, and the Alumni Director for the Rudolf Steiner School, also in Manhattan. She returned to Los Angeles in 2014 where she became Providence High School’s Development Officer.

MJ is a carless Angelino, by choice, living in DTLA. She enjoys riding her bike throughout DTLA before the sun comes up any chance she gets.
