Providence High Arts

Visual Arts

The Visual Arts Department strives to prepare students to be successful in practical future real world situations as well as continued education in the arts.  In all visual arts courses, we work to teach the skills needed to become successful creative artists through an innovative and challenging curriculum.  The Visual Arts department is committed to promoting an understanding of the arts and encouraging students to showcase their work and skills in a platform beyond the classroom.

Students regularly participate in contests and showcases both on campus and in the greater community. Some of these opportunities Include participation in the Robert Graham Memorial Art Exhibit at the Cathedral, the Burbank Youth Art Expo, the CAEA Young Artist Month juried exhibition, and the 28th district Congressional Art Show, along with many other opportunities.  Regular art shows and displays are showcased continually on campus as well.
