Meet Our Chief Financial & Operations Officer, Artie Nagar

Dear Providence Community,

In alignment with Providence High School’s 2030 Strategic Plan, Learning and Leading for a Better World, and our commitment to responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to our care, we are pleased to announce that Arturo “Artie” Nagar will join Providence High School as our inaugural Chief Financial & Operations Officer.

The creation of this new leadership role is years in the making and reflects our continued investment in Providence High School’s long-term sustainability, operational excellence, and growth. As Chief Financial & Operations Officer, Artie will guide the school's financial planning and business operations ensuring that Providence is well-positioned to steward its resources responsibly in support of our current community and future generations of Pioneers.

Artie brings nearly two decades of senior leadership experience in K–12 education, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Finance & Business Affairs at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools. Over his tenure, Artie oversaw substantial organizational growth while advancing the financial, operational, technology, human resources, and compliance systems that supported the institution’s success.

As a graduate of Holy Family Parish School (Glendale) and Loyola High School and a parent of graduate from Incarnation Parish School and Mayfield Senior School, I am intimately familiar with the formative power of a Catholic education. Some of my closest and dearest friends are those I made in high school, making the opportunity to return to a high school community especially meaningful. In addition to his impressive career background, Artie holds a Master of Management Studies from the Yale School of Management and serves on the Board of Directors for St. Joseph Center in Venice.

As our inaugural Chief Financial & Operations Officer, Artie will help guide Providence toward greater financial strength and operational effectiveness, allowing us to invest in our people, programs, and facilities for many years to come.
