Recap: Community Impact Kickoff

Providence proudly launched its very first Community Impact Kickoff, a day designed to help students see how service and advocacy take shape not just outside our walls, but within the classroom. It was an energizing day of discovery, reflection, and leadership, giving every student the opportunity to lean into the issues that matter most to them and begin shaping how they will make a difference. 

• Freshmen began their journey with a retreat, exploring the question: “Who am I in Community?” Which set the stage for how they will grow into transformative leaders. 

• Sophomores identified pressing issues in their communities and discovered their unique leadership strengths through the Clifton Strengths Finder, learning how their talents can fuel real change. 

• Juniors engaged in powerful civil discourse with local, state, and federal representatives, reflecting deeply on what they heard and charting their next steps as changemakers. 

• Seniors jumpstarted their Capstone projects, diving into brainstorming sessions, research, and conversations about how Providence has shaped their path and how they will leave their mark. 

The day was filled with meaningful conversations, bold ideas, and inspiring moments. Most importantly, it set the foundation for the work our students will continue this year and carry them into the future, equipped to be leaders of impact wherever they go.
