Day of Impact

Day of Impact

Day of Impact was a day dedicated to service, leadership, advocacy, and real‑world learning. We were incredibly proud of our students as they took initiative, led with purpose, and created meaningful impact both locally and beyond. It was more than a school tradition — it was a day of action, growth, and inspiration. It reflected who we were: a community committed not only to learning, but to making a difference.

Day of Impact at a Glance

  • Freshmen — Completed community service at Johnny Carson Park, planting trees and beautifying a space our city loves.

  • Sophomores — Participated in a retreat themed Light ’em Up, exploring how their Clifton Strengths could fuel stronger leadership and community impact.

  • Juniors — Half of the class visited LA City Hall and met with various elected and county officials, including staff from the offices of County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, and Mayor Karen Bass, among others. The other half visited Burbank City Hall and connected with officials from the offices of Councilmember Konstantine Anthony, Councilmember Chris Rizzotti, and Mayor Tamala Takahashi.

  • Seniors — Engaged in off‑campus capstone work with mentors and organizations, putting their skills and passions into practice.

From parks to city halls to professional workspaces, each grade stepped into meaningful experiences designed to challenge, inspire, and empower. This was what it looked like when students led with heart, and we couldn’t have been more excited for the impact they would continue to make.
