Fall 2025 Athletics Update #2

Girls Volleyball

The Girls Varsity Volleyball team wrapped up a strong regular season with an impressive 12-2 record. In their final stretch, they secured victories against Los Altos, Golden Valley, Le Lycée, and AGBU, while also putting up competitive performances against tough opponents like Oakwood and John Burroughs High School.

Their efforts earned them 2nd place in the Independence League, securing a spot in CIF postseason play. In the first round, the team delivered a dominant win over Rim of the World, marking their first advancement to the second round in several years—a major milestone for the program.

In the second round, the team showed a level of gutsiness that would impress anyone. Down 2 sets, the team pulled off a reverse sweep. Winning the match 3-2 after facing multiple match points in the last 3 sets. As a department, we could not be more elated for the tenacity the team showed. The grit was paired with joy. The competitive passion was paired with focus and belief. 

They will play at HOME on Wednesday, October 29, 6:00 PM against Wiseburn. Come and support. They are looking to earn their first trip to the semifinals since Fall 2016. 

Girls Flag Football

Despite facing a challenging season with several key injuries, the Girls Flag Football team showed resilience and growth. They finished with a 3-9 record, improving by two wins over last year’s performance. The team’s determination and progress set a strong foundation for future success.
