From Classroom to Cafeteria

Freshmen in the Medical Program recently toured the Providence St. Joseph cafeteria, where they learned firsthand about nutrition, food safety, and the many careers involved in food-service operations. As part of their Health Careers course, students are introduced to a wide range of professions within the healthcare industry and gain insight into how each role contributes to patient health and well-being.

Just a short walk from the classroom, the hospital provides students with authentic, real-world learning experiences that bring classroom concepts to life.
