Homeboy Industries Assembly

Our campus recently hosted an inspiring guest speaker thanks to our Homeboy club, led by senior Brick Braun. Through our partnership with Homeboy Industries, the club helps students learn about the organization’s mission and find meaningful ways to support its work.

We were honored to welcome Dre Comers from Homeboy Industries, who spoke to our students about the organization’s impact. Students engaged in thoughtful conversations, asking Dre questions about his experiences and the transformative work happening at Homeboy. In addition to the on‑campus event, a group of students visited Homeboy Industries to see the programs and community spaces firsthand. The visit deepened their understanding of the organization’s mission and strengthened their commitment to giving back.

It was a meaningful experience that brought our community closer to Homeboy’s message of hope, healing, and second chances.
