Community Impact Highlights: March Monthly Recap

March was a busy month. community impact wise.

First off, we had an incredible turn out for the JDRF One Walk at the Rose Bowl.  We had 56 students and 15 parents on our Pioneer Team, and we raised $3714 to end T1 Diabetes.

Two of our students, (Alexandra Cedeno and Madeline Fernandez) were celebrated for their Inspirational Community Impact at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.  They received the Arch Diocese Award for Christian Service from the Most Reverend Archbishop Gomez.

We had students volunteer at Easter Events, the Finish the Ride Event at Griffith Park, and students continued support of North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, Operation Gratitude, Ahead with Horses, Project Angel Food and Tree People, just to name a few.

We also have a Pioneer team (24 students) that started interviewing Burbank Leaders, to get a pulse on the greatest needs of our community, so we can better serve in those areas.

With gratitude for this amazing community,

Janet Fontaine
