Parent and Guardian Association
Every Providence parent/guardian is automatically a member of the Parent and Guardian Association (PGA). Building upon our joyful sense of community, the PGA is the liaison between the parent and guardian body and the school. The PGA offers many opportunities—large and small—to get involved with the school. Join fellow parents/guardians in strengthening Providence’s community while also making new friends and having a great time!
Purpose
The organization provides meaningful and inclusive volunteer opportunities to celebrate and enrich the school experience for all. PGA volunteers help organize many of Providence's special events and assist many groups on campus including but not limited to:
- Performing & Visual Arts
- Athletics
- Cinema Arts, Medical, and Tech Programs
PHS is grateful for the robust partnership with the PGA and the impact their service has on our students each and every day.
PGA Meetings and Events
The PGA holds up to six meetings per academic year. As PGA members, all parents and guardians are welcome to attend. Meetings include reports on the latest activities and plans for students as well as parent education sessions from the following:
- PGA leadership
- Head of School
- Other school administrators
- Guest speakers
Whether you just want to stay informed or wish to volunteer for one of our committees, we hope to see you at the meetings!
PGA Leadership
"When our parents and guardians volunteer, they not only support Providence High School's mission, vision, and values, they also model the value of community engagement and enrich the lives of our Pioneers."
