Parent Board Association

Message from Board President

On behalf of the Providence High School Parent Board, we wanted to remind you that we are thrilled you are here. As you will learn for yourselves, the sense of community is very strong here and we all strive to remind our students and families that You Belong Here.

Now that we are fully ensconced with the school year and all academic classes (at least for this fall semester) being conducted online in our BOLD (Block Online Learning Days) and opportunities for your child(ren) to find the extracurricular activities that they want to join, we want to check in and remind you that you are absolutely invited to join the Parent Board.

The PHS Parent Board is also looking at various ways to not only have a presence in assisting the school in their ambitions but also conduct our own events, held virtually, at least for the fall semester.

While this all looks very different than we had imagined, we are steadfast in our goals to support our students, faculty, administration, and parents.

In our monthly meetings, we discuss how best we can serve the Providence community and there are many ways to be involved and again, we welcome you to join us.

The best way to reach out to is to email us at the address listed below, we look forward to hearing from you.

Go Pioneers!

About the Parent Board Association

Our Purpose
The PHS Parent Board both sponsors and assists with events throughout the year with the goal of both bringing our parents together and supporting our kids. As we proceed with the fall semester being online, this changes our on-campus presence since we not planning any campus events for the time being.

Usually, at this time the board gathers and coordinates with the administration and creates all sorts of events.  What we are going to do now is to continue to plan ahead for when we can all be together and celebrate our children and our school. We invite parents and guardians to get involved in one of our committees: Fundraising, Hospitality, Sports Banquet, Focus Program Chairs, and Grade Representatives.

Monthly Meetings
Parent Board meetings are held monthly on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, and for the time being, those meetings will be held through Zoom.  All parents and guardians are invited to attend. Meetings cover event planning, reports from the administration, and committee reports. Parent Board meetings are a great way to find out what's going. As soon as things evolve, we encourage you to please visit the school calendar for upcoming meetings and events.

Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved with the Providence community. Please watch the weekly bulletins for any announcements and check out Sign-Up Genius for volunteer opportunities. All parents are invited to get involved and to see first hand how truly special our Providence Pioneer family is. We are here to help you navigate your way through our school for the next 4 years and are excited to be of service. Remember Pioneer Parents, YOU belong here
