Sister Joeline Santiago, a Sister of Social Service, serves in the Religious Studies Department faculty. Previously, Sister Joeline served as Department Chair for many years and Freshmen Academic Advisor. Since 1992 has also taught every course in the Religious Studies Department.
Prior to arriving at Providence, Sister Joeline spent time working in radio and television programming in Taipei, Taiwan; the Stella Maris Senior Center as its Director; and at the Stanford Home for Children, a psychiatric residential treatment center for emotionally disturbed children, as its chaplain, maintenance supervisor and child care worker.
