Interim Director of Admissions & Enrollment Management
Mr. Scott Turner is from northern Maine just minutes from the Canadian border. He graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and made his way to California by way of Colorado.
Mr. Turner’s first job after college was as an admissions intern at a small boarding school in southern Maine. He quickly learned that he wanted to pursue a career as a teacher and went on to work at independent schools in the U.S. and China. After returning to California, he worked with international students and scholars at USC before joining the admissions office at Harvard-Westlake.
Most recently, Mr. Turner worked at Walden School in Pasadena. Mr. Turner feels strongly that an effective admissions professional must believe in the school at which they work. He is extremely happy to be at Providence High School and proud to help prospective families learn more about this extraordinary community.
When not working, Mr. Turner loves to get out into nature, read, and spend time with his family.
