Mr. Jason Coito joined the Providence community in 2019. In addition to serving as the Director of Campus Ministry, he also teaches in the Religious Studies Department. The nearly two decades of his career have been mostly spent in ministry and education with high school and college students.  

Mr. Coito came to Providence after serving as the Coordinator of Young Adult Ministry in the Office of Religious Education of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. During his time at the Archdiocese, Mr. Coito served as a consultor on the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, and as a member of the National Advisory Team for Young Adult Ministry, serving the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life, and Youth. 

Mr. Coito’s spirituality and approach to ministry are heavily informed by the Augustinian spiritual tradition, with its emphasis on community life, and the Ignatian spiritual tradition, with its emphasis on discernment and finding God in all things.
