Ms. Shanica Dale was born and raised in California. Ms. Dale attended the University of Arizona and received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and Family Studies. While in Arizona, she began implementing her passion to work with vulnerable youth, as a Foster Youth Mentor and Behavior Therapist.
After receiving this degree, Ms. Dale returned to California and attended Graduate School at the University of La Verne, and received a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling. Ms. Dale gained much of her experience working in the K-12 educational system with students and youth as an Instructional Aide, Behavior Therapist, Transitional Counselor, and School Counselor. Ms. Dale also served as an Academic Coach with Pasadena City College and gained exceptional experience with College Counseling.
Outside of work, Ms. Dale spends quality time with her daughter and family. She mostly enjoys the beach, art and food events, hiking, and volunteering with a youth ministry. Ms. Dale has also served as a Youth Leader for her church and has a true passion for the emotional and social well-being of adolescents.
Ms. Dale also has a passion and love for Art Therapy, which she believes can be very beneficial to students that may need other forms of self-expression. Ms. Dale recently received her certification as an Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner.
As a new member of the Providence Family, Ms. Dale is deeply grateful and committed to serving all students by advocating for and fostering their emotional and social wellness.
