Mr. Freeman is from Clearwater, Florida, and moved to LA in 2019. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2008 and from Azusa Pacific University with a Master in Fine Arts in 2020. He is a practicing artist working in ceramics, mixed media sculpture, video, and installation art. He started his teaching career in 2010 and has previously taught Ceramics & AP Art at Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida.

In 2019 he was presented with the Orange County Public School's Art Teacher of the Year Award. He loves to travel and has led three student trips to Europe for visiting art museums such as the Louvre and other important art historical sites. When he's not working or spending time with family, he spends his time in the studio creating new artwork.

Mr. Freeman is happily married to his wife, Lauren, and they have four children: Noah, Brody, Rowan, and Brooks. They enjoy hiking, beach trips, art shows, concerts, and sporting events. He is a big fan of football and baseball, rooting for his favorite native Florida teams: FSU Seminoles, UCF Knights, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
