Natalie Ohrt

Mathematics Faculty

B.A. Liberal Studies with a Teaching Mathematics concentration

Ms. Ohrt is a Geometry and Algebra II teacher at Providence High School. Although this is Ms. Ohrt's first year teaching at Providence she is not entirely new to the Providence Family. Ms. Ohrt is an alumni of Providence High School and she was a part of the graduating Class of 2011. She can give you multiple examples as to why you belong here. After Ms. Ohrt graduated from Providence she attended CSU Channel Islands where she earned her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Teaching Mathematics as well as a minor in Foundational Mathematics. She then returned to CSU Channel Islands to earn her Teaching Credential in Foundational Mathematics. She gained a few years of teaching experience prior to returning to Providence High School.

Although Ms. Ohrt loves creating fun and interactive math lessons, she also loves being crafty. Whenever she has some downtime she likes to knit or crochet either items for family members or to be donated. A few other fun facts about Ms. Ohrt are that she met her husband at Providence, loves to travel, cook for family, and have family game nights, which hopefully she can do again soon.
