Ms. Nazly Bim was born and raised in Southern California, serves as an academic counselor for students in grades 9, 10, & 11 and our PSAT Coordinator at Providence High School.
Being a first-generation student Ms. Bim was always interested in learning about the various cultures and backgrounds of her peers. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at UCLA she recognized a need to give back to the communities around her. Understanding the challenges many students face both emotionally and academically she felt passionate about becoming a school counselor and helping the scholars of today.
She pursued her master's in School Counseling at USC. As a school counselor, she believes in helping students find their voice and cultivating their passions. As a new member of the Providence family, she is dedicated to serving all students ensuring that students feel supported during their academic journeys.
Outside of work Ms. Bim enjoys meditation and spending time with her family and her beloved chihuahua, ‘Pico’.
