B.A. Economics, Loyola University-New Orleans

Mr. Michael Senna attended Pope John Paul II High School in Florida where he was a member of the 3A Florida State runner-up championship team. After high school, Mr. Senna played college basketball for Loyola University-New Orleans where he also earned a B.A. in Economics.

Mr. Senna began his teaching career at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans. While at Brother Martin, he taught various subjects including Physical Science, Environmental Science, and Economics. As an assistant basketball coach, Mr. Senna's boys basketball team reached the state semi-finals three consecutive years, and won the 5A state championship in 2010. After five years at Brother Martin, Mr. Senna was named the head boys basketball coach at Archbishop Hannan High School. At Hannan, Mr. Senna also taught Physical Science, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I. In 2017, Mr. Senna was named the Clarion Herald Coach of the Year.

Mr. Senna began his career at Providence in 2017 and currently teaches in the Social Studies and Math Department and serves as the ASB Moderator, Director of Student Activities, and JV Boys Head/Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach.
