The 5Day Filmmakers Workshop, an exciting and immersive introductory filmmaking experience designed specifically for Middle School students. This workshop is a unique opportunity for young filmmakers to explore the art of storytelling and the fundamental techniques of filmmaking in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment.

Over one week, participants will delve into the essentials of filmmaking, learning how to craft compelling narratives and bring them to life on the screen. Through hands-on activities and collaborative projects, students will gain practical knowledge and skills in all aspects of the filmmaking process, from concept development to shooting and editing.

Led by experienced instructors with a passion for filmmaking, this workshop encourages creativity and self-expression. Students will have the chance to unleash their imagination and showcase their unique storytelling abilities as they create their very own original short film.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have an introductory foundation in filmmaking and a deeper appreciation for the art form. They will also have a tangible outcome to be proud of - their own completed short film.

Regardless of expertise, campers explore STEM's diverse facets, fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Each day unveils exciting activities, from coding and robotics to 3D printing and engineering challenges. Encourage your child to bring a curious mind, lunch, sunscreen, and optional laptops/tablets.
